Utilizing this strength of ours, we can confidently say that we’ve managed to design a tailor-made and up-to-date UCAT course that will help to smoothen your experience in sitting for the UCAT test. 

Our UCAT course has 5 lessons.

This is how we have planned our UCAT lessons.

We will first provide you with the fundamentals of the UCAT exam in the first half of lesson 1, including a general overview of the exam structure as well as respective university requirements for the UCAT. The emphasis of the majority of the first three lessons will be on introducing you to the timings, techniques and tips for each section of the UCAT, whilst utilising our specially made question bank to showcase every question type you will encounter in the exam. 

The next 2 lessons will take on a more personalised nature. We will be on-hand to offer help with whichever area you feel unconfident with in the UCAT, whether that be targeted and timed question practice, a more in-depth walkthrough of your weakest section, or thorough explanations of difficult questions you’ve come across in your personal revision. We will also include a short session on tips regarding test day and the day before, as well as general strategies on how best to use popular and official UCAT revision resources.

Our tutors have combined both their expertise and experience to design a 5-lesson BMAT course, specially tailored for those who are keen to gain entry to some of the UK’s most prestigious medical schools. 

This is how we have planned our BMAT lessons.

The first lesson will be focused on equipping you with the necessary basics of the BMAT, from exam structure and university requirements to tips on using BMAT revision resources effectively. 

Actual course teaching begins in lesson 2, where we introduce you to the skills and knowledge required to master section 3, the BMAT essay, a section most applicants struggle with. Aside from analysing multiple BMAT essays that we’ve written together, our tutors will also be providing you with essay titles to complete. Constructive essay feedback will be given at the beginning of subsequent lessons. 

Section 1 and 2 teaching will be spread throughout lesson 3, 4 and 5. For each section, we will begin with a general overview of question types, timings, tips and strategies required for success. You will then have the opportunity to consolidate these skills by attempting handpicked questions during the lesson, with our tutors on-hand to offer targeted guidance. 

Section 2 is an examination of your scientific knowledge at GCSE level. In lesson 5, we will tailor our teaching to help you with any section 2 topics that you are unfamiliar or unconfident about.  We will also focus on a recap of previous content, along with essay feedback and a special 15-min session on how best to prepare on the day before and on test day. There will also be some time at the end for you to share with us any concerns you still have regarding the BMAT exam.
