Our personal statement course
A strong and eloquent personal statement is key to a competitive medical school application and we are here to help with our personalised and flexible 3-lesson course. Our tutors will streamline their teaching to your personal statement (PS), along with any PS-specific concerns you may have.
If you haven’t begun writing
We will guide you through the nuts and bolts of an effective personal statement, along with the essential techniques to add individuality and flair to your piece.
On the other hand, if you have a first draft ready
We will spend the 3 lessons dissecting and fine-tuning your personal statement, as well as making critical adjustments collaboratively, to enhance the overall quality of your statement. Your tutor will be on-hand throughout the course to edit your PS and provide targeted feedback.
You can also pay an additional, small fee should you hope for a second perspective on your piece of writing. Our other tutors will each write a brief paragraph on the strengths and weaknesses of your edited personal statement. Please notify your allocated tutor if you would like this additional service.
